For those who have been following us on our different social media channels or Redwolf TV, we here at Redwolf are huge proponents of offering Cerakote coating services. As airsofters and shooters, we are requiring more and more out of the guns we own and how they can become an extension of us as individuals. With that in mind, we have been offering Cerakoting services for some time. However, how do you get your guns coated?
Lets start by answering what is Cerakote and why is it important. Cerakoting is the process of applying a ceramic coating via a liquid spray and through heat treatment, hardening the surface of the applied materials. This is beneficial not only in allowing your airsoft gun to look great but the coating also helps with reinforcing some of the low grade metals used in many airsoft guns. Other than strengthening the metal, the coating also provides anticorrosion capabilities adding an extra layer of protection. This means you can finally give your externals a high quality upgrade to match the work you may have put into your internals.
With all that said, how DO you get your gun Cerakoted? If you look at our online store and find the gun you like, you can find a new set of options. You can refer to the pictures below:
As you can see from the selection menu there are many options to choose from and all options correspond with what gun type you are selecting such as Rifle, SMG, and Pistol. You may wonder, how about long guns such as sniper rifles? For sniper rifles, we have left individual options for you to choose from as you might only want one or two parts of the gun to get coated. Looking at the first selection, we have full gun coating services for M4/AK options and you can see the break down below:
